Supported Projects

  • Zentrum Überleben, Berlin, Germany, 2017-2018 Breslaff is supporting a new project for unaccompanied minors to enable them to access treatment quickly.

 

  • 2018-2019: Breslaff is supporting the organisation for a project for adolescents with a migration/refugee background to attend a film camp to help them cope with the traumatic experiences.

 

  • Challenging Heights, Ghana, 2018: As in the previous year the Centre funded their pre-rescue activites to enable their rescue mission in October 2018.

 

  • Refugee Rescue, Operating in Lesvos, Greece, 2017-2018: The Breslaff Centre is supporting this organisation in their efforts to rescue refugees from the waters of Mediterranean who are fleeing violence, war & persecution.

 

  • 2018: The Centre supported the organisation with a donation to fund their activities in the Autumn period.

 

  • Metadrasi, Lesvos, Greece, 2017-2018: The Breslaff Centre is supporting the work of Metadrasi on the island of Lesvos with unaccompanied minors, fleeing conflict & war.

 

  • Open Doors Hull, England, 2018: The Breslaff Centre has financially supported this organisation which is working to assist destitute asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in Hull.

 

  • Enthum Foundation, Lewes, East Sussex England, 2018: The Breslaff Centre has financially supported the setting up of Enthum House which offers supported semi-independent accommodation for unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Minors aged 16-18.

 

  • British Red Cross, Luton, 2018: The Breslaff Centre has been supporting the Red Cross in a number of ways. It made a donation towards some of their client families and Breslaff employees are also volunteering their time to run occasional craft workshops with the refugees and/or their children.

 

  • Red Thread, London, 2018: Breslaff made a donation to support this organisation's Youth Violence Intervention Programme.

 

  • Kids Can Cook, Luton, Summer 2018: Breslaff staff member, Hendrike Barz-Meltzer undertook fabric printing workshop with disadvantaged children attending the Kids Can Cook sessions at St John's Church, Farley Hill, Luton.
