Supported Projects

  • Zentrum Überleben, Berlin, Germany, 2018-2019: Breslaff is supporting the organisation for a project for adolescents with a migration/refugee background to attend a film camp to help them cope with the traumatic experiences.


  • Refugee Rescue, Operating in Lesvos, Greece, 2019: The Breslaff Centre was supporting this organisation in their efforts to rescue refugees from the waters of Mediterranean who are fleeing violence, war & persecution.


  • Open Doors Hull, England, 2019: The Breslaff Centre has financially supported this organisation which is working to assist destitute asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in Hull.


  • Enthum Foundation, Lewes, East Sussex England, 2019: The Breslaff Centre has financially supported the setting up of Enthum House which offers supported semi-independent accommodation for unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Minors aged 16-18.


  • British Red Cross, Luton, 2019: Breslaff staff member, Ms Barz-Meltzer has been supporting the Red Cross through time-donation - running craft workshops every two weeks at the foodbank drop-in. At the beginning of the year Ms Barz-Meltzer organised and led a number of craft workshops themed on Refugee Week, with a display shown at the local library in Luton.


  • Kids Can Cook, St John's Church, Luton, 2019: Breslaff staff member, Ms Barz-Meltzer undertook various craft workshops during school holidays with disadvantaged children who attended the Kids Can Cook sessions. These workshops included paracord bracelet making, fabric printing (T-shirts), felt sewing and cardboard weaving. 


  • Watford and Three Rivers Refugee Partnership (WTRRP), Watford, 2019: Breslaff began supporting this organisation at the beginning of the year through donations and time-donations of their staff member, Hendrike Barz-Meltzer, who started co-leading the monthly women's group through providing different craft workshops. Workshops carried out here included cardboard weaving, sashiko embroidery, fabric printing and jewellery making.
